My name is Kyle Milliken, I’m 30 years old and I was born in Little Rock, Arkansas. I am the epitome of a hacker and spammer. For the past decade I have taken precautions to remain unknown and stay hidden from the public eye. In fact, this is the first time I’m exposing myself to the public.

The earliest I can remember experiencing my love for the internet was at about 10 years old. I was amazed by the connectedness to the rest of the world and how much information was available, I was overwhelmed, but also very in love. I built my first computer from spare parts that was lying around my grandfather’s office. The build was an AMD 450 MHz, running the newly released Windows XP. This was the beginning of a terribly beautiful relationship.

In 2000 I discovered the “AOL scene”, this is what shaped my brain and paved the way to my future online endeavors and which ultimately led to my downfall courtesy of the US Government. The AOL scene consisted of likeminded individuals including programmers that created all types of warez, such as; phishers, crackers, and spammers. There were maybe 1,500 of us all together and even our beloved Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg took part in the scene.

Over the next decade I would go on to successfully hack hundreds of websites and launch hundreds of spam campaigns. I innovated several methods of spamming, most infamously “contact mail”. Contact mail is basically logging into a person’s e-mail account and sending spam to their address book. Yes, I’m the guy that sent you an email from your mother/father/sister/friend’s e-mail account telling you how you can make money online or lose a few pounds with a simple trick. This technique was shared with a select few and it’s estimated to have brought in over $50M in revenue to the affiliate marketing and nutraceutical industry.
